「♥」a breath she didn’t know she was holding escaped the second the weight of his hand disappeared from against her hair. his gentle smile was rewarded with one from her; despite his earlier inclination that she should avoid bowing, Joy did it again. it wasn’t as deep as the more formal bow from before, but it was respectful nonetheless. happy to turn her attention from a situation that felt a little tense, the girl studied the cube he withdrew. a shake of her head started off her denial. “Ah, no. I don’t think that I could. I’m not very good at puzzles, and I don’t have a lot of time to work on any, anyway.” time was a commodity, because Joy spent most of hers trying not to be the weak link.
Luhan eyed Joy for a moment, and he nodded slowly to himself, almost as if assessing her for himself. “Well, you’re going to be spending time with me, and I’ll teach you. Okay?” It seemed to him as if she was trying to get away from him as quickly as possible, but she’d sparked an interest in him, and he was now determined to know more.
She had an interesting hook; he’d never really been drawn in by those who seemed shy, or at least, those who weren’t so sociable upon first meeting. Nonetheless, he was intrigued by this person. “What do you think you’re good at?”
