「♥」her eyes met his for the third time during their encounter, but stuck instead of searching for something else to focus on. “okay.” for someone who seemed more introverted, it was a straight-forward answer that didn’t hint at any overwhelming resistance to the idea. his next question prompted a shifting of weight from one foot to the other. “what do i think i’m good at?” her eyes drifted to the right. she racked her brain for some answer beyond regurgitating stereotypical talk show responses. ”i’m pretty good at word games, i guess.”
“You guess?” His eyes locked with hers, tilting his head, but keeping the eye contact.
“I know something you’re good at, mm.” With a nod, he gave a playful smile to Joy, crossing his arms over his chest for a moment, before deciding it was too unwelcoming, albeit he couldn’t just take an action back. “You’re good at singing.” The statement came from him with an abundance of confidence–he seemed almost over-confident in that, but he knew it’d have to have been true, if she was going to be debuting in a group.
