「♥」there are people that don’t. “you’ve heard me sing?” skepticism etched itself into existence at the very edges of her expression. without breaking eye contact, joy shrugged. it seemed he was fishing for a direct answer and wouldn’t take anything less “yes.” another subtle darting of her eyes sent them left this time around. as before, they returned to being on him, but it was impossible to hide that no matter what she said, she refused to commit to it one-hundred percent. unlike a an artist who had been in the spotlight for years, joy was an unknown who’d been through an intensive training program. all the training wheels, all the restraints, and all the pressure was still on. it was going to be awhile before she built any rock with enough solidarity to support confidence.

Without hesitation, Luhan gave one of the most ridiculous excuses for himself he thought he’d ever given. Ever. That was only for the fact that he didn’t want to seem too excited about the group’s debut, but, admittedly, he’d gone and tried to find all he could of the clips of their singing he could possibly find.

“I’ve heard you sing; you, and your members, are all talented. I’d say that the only way you could possibly choose one to be the ‘best’ would be an opinion on the style.”
