「♥」”i’d rather it not be any competition.” her nose wrinkles near the bridge, expressing her exasperation with the idea as a whole. she sighs afterwards, letting out a rush of air that’s just audible enough to hear. “we’ll see. a lot of people have already been talking about how we all look the same and that we don’t seem to have anything special. and some aren’t excited about the song concept.” it’s easy to focus on the negative, and joy shows her own room for maturity growth by fixating on it. “but thank you,” it’s a sincere thanks she emphasizes by locking eyes with him. “your support means a lot. to all of us, i’m sure.”
“I hope you aren’t getting me wrong here; as much fun as competitions are–which, in these cases, aren’t at all–sadly, that’s the way that things turn out most of the time. I’m sure you know that, as well.” Luhan gave her a gentle smile, nodding along as he listened to what she was saying.
“Looking the same, huh? Well, if I’m honest with you, look at Girls’ Generation during Gee’s music video. Sometimes, even now, it’s hard for me to tell all nine of them apart, other than learning their faces. I think that eventually, you’ll all be able to gain a certain style for your looks, so that it’ll be easy to tell you all apart, and you’ll all look really good. Song concept, though? Remember, it is only your group’s debut song, and they typically don’t just throw all the talent that you have to offer out there quite yet. Not only for the fact that you’re all still probably working extremely hard to discover more things to improve on, and improving them, but because you girls are still new.”
Something Luhan had noticed, was that in new groups, they did tend to look similar at first, for some reason. It made him wonder what it was, really, but it didn’t intrigue him enough to really give it too much of his attention. “Hm, we’re speaking extremely seriously, aren’t we? Why don’t we lighten up the mood a little, and we can go out for ice cream or something? Some time, I want to get you girls all something as a gift for congratulations when you debut.”
